Fridays evenings (2 classes):
August 11 from 6:00pm – 8:00pm
August 25 from 6:00pm – 7:00pm
Fee: $60 + clay
Instructor: Sara Bowen
Make some muddy summer memories in this quick wheel-throwing class, and finish the class with your favorite new sipping cup! We’ll spend two hours on our first night of class working with clay on the potter’s wheel. Then, come back for our second session and spend an hour glazing your pots. Leave them with us to fire, and in two weeks come pick up your brand new pottery–food safe and ready to use!
This class is perfect for beginners who can’t commit to a full class, but can’t wait to get their hands muddy. Beverages (adult and otherwise) welcome (snacks are fine, too, but a bit more difficult with muddy hands). The fee for this course covers two nights of instruction (2 hours the first night, 1 hour the second night), firing, glazes, and tools. Clay can be purchased the first night of class for $10 (you must use clay bought at DesignByHart Pottery studio, but you’re welcome to bring your own tools).
PLEASE NOTE: Online registration closes 2 days before the start day of the class.
