Fridays evenings (2 classes):
December 1 from 6:00pm – 8:00pm
December 15 from 6:00pm – 7:00pm
Instructor: Sara Bowen
Join me in this quick wheel-throwing class right before our holiday break, and have ayour new favorite wine cup waiting for you in the new year! We’ll spend two hours on our first night of class working with clay on the potter’s wheel. Then, come back for our second session and spend an hour glazing your pots. Leave them with us to fire, and in two weeks come pick up your brand new pottery! **Because this class occurs right before our studio closes for our winter break, your pots will be ready for pick up by January 3, 2018.**
This class is perfect for beginners and intermediate potters who can’t commit to a full class, but can’t wait to get their hands muddy. Beverages (adult and otherwise) welcome (snacks are fine, too, but a bit more difficult with muddy hands). The fee for this course covers two nights of instruction (2 hours the first night, 1 hour the second night), clay (enough for two pots per student), firing, glazes, and tools. Please bring an old towel to drape across your lap, and an apron if you’d like.
PLEASE NOTE: Online registration closes 2 days before the start day of the class.
